Melissa Cook has over 30 years in the high tech industry in senior management positions including systems engineering management, global practice management, customer service and training center management, product marketing management and enterprise architecture management.   She enjoyed 20 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company in the formative years of the distributed computing industry after graduating with a Computer Science Degree in 1979 from the University of Washington, and her career also includes 10 years as a senior management consultant and most recently was Senior Director and Global Industry Lead for Microsoft Dynamics at Microsoft Corporation.  Melissa is well known internationally in the field of enterprise architecture and other executive-level decision-making frameworks and has significant experience with their use in the Board Rooms at Fortune 500 corporations and large public sector organizations.  She regularly writes opinions for ComputerWorld, is a contributor to Forbes Magazine and is the author of the book "Building Enterprise Information Architectures" published by Prentice-Hall which has been used in graduate and undergraduate courses at over 50 universities worldwide.
