The M A  Cook Corporation was formed in 2000 by Owner Melissa A. Cook.

Melissa has over 35 years of experience working for and with Fortune 100 companies in the high tech industry. She has a proven CV as a senior manager Melissa Cook 2010 in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, consulting practice management, customer service management and product marketing in regional, global and corporate roles.

After graduating with a Computer Science Degree in 1979 from the College of Engineering at the University of Washington, Melissa enjoyed very successful careers at Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft.

Melissa is well known internationally in the field of enterprise architecture and its use in the Boardrooms of Fortune 100 corporations and large public sector organizations.  She writes opinions for ComputerWorld, is a contributor to Forbes Magazine and is the author of the book “Building Enterprise Information Architectures” published by Prentice-Hall which has been used in graduate and undergraduate courses at over 50 colleges and universities worldwide and is still considered one of the primary handbooks for enterprise architecture.  She is also a guest lecturer and panel participant at academic institutions including Seattle U and the University of Washington.
